A new blog - an old photograph.
Just to give you a little more information on this image. It was shot in 1997 during a trip to Nepal. It shows one of our camps on a three-week trek around the mountains of Manaslu and Annapurna close to the Tibetian border. Our tents are at about 4000m as we approach a high pass. Mountaineering was one of my things back then (and still is when I have the time)! This whole place is just stunning. If you ever get the chance then go. You won't regret it.
For those who are interested, the shot was taken on Fuji Velvia transparency film with a Canon EOS 5 and scanned using an Epson V750 flatbed scanner.
